Stephen Hicks Obituary, Death – A resident of Augusta who was engaged in the collision that caused the fatal injury has been identified as the person who passed away as a result of the deadly accident that occurred in the early hours of the morning.
According to the findings of the Aiken County Coroner’s Office, the incident took place at approximately 1:50 in the am on Saturday, August 5 in the 300 block of Chalk Bed Road. The time of the incident was approximately the same. There was an instant gap in knowledge regarding the exact moment that the incident took place.
Stephen A. Hicks, who is 36 years old, is the person who the investigators claim to have identified as the person who was driving the vehicle. The detectives say they have identified Stephen A. Hicks as the driver. The investigation that was carried out by the Coroner’s Office revealed that he was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was manufactured in the year 2001 when he lost control of the vehicle, drove off the right shoulder of the road, and crashed into a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the findings of the investigation that was carried out by the Aiken County Coroner’s Office, one of the contributing elements that contributed to Hicks’ death was the fact that he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision. This was judged to be one of the contributing factors that led to his passing.
After it was determined that he had been engaged in the collision, it was found that he had passed away at the scene of the accident.
Both the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Aiken County Coroner’s Office are currently conducting investigations into the accident in order to get more information about what happened. In addition to that, a report on the toxicology of the substance is also being compiled.
