She had a strong moral compass even at a young age, and she was always willing to assist others who were in need. Because of this motivation, she decided to pursue a career in the United States military, where she believed she would be able to make the most of her potential to affect change.
The beginning of Nicole Gee’s journey of duty and sacrifice was when she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Her love for her country and her resolute intent to defend the liberties that she treasured most were the primary motivating factors that led to her choice to enlist in the military. Gee was a member of the military and served with the Combat Logistics Battalion 24, which was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
Gee, her husband, and their two dogs made their home there. Throughout her time in the military, she was recognized with a number of prestigious honors and awards, including the Purple Heart, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Medal, the Afghan Campaign Medal, and the Expert Rifle Qualification, Third Award. On a consistent basis, she achieved a flawless score on her military fitness exams. In January, she was deployed and during that time she traveled to Spain, Greece, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. In August of 2021, while she was stationed in Kuwait, she earned a promotion to the rank of sergeant based on her exemplary service.
