Lawrence Tower Obituary, In Loving Memory Of Lawrence Tower – Death

Lawrence Tower Obituary, Death – On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, our grandfather, Lawrence “Larry” Tower, passed away at his home in Southampton. He was 92 years old at the time of his passing and resided in Southampton. This is an announcement that we are forced to make, and doing so weighs heavily on our hearts.
His father, William Tower, had passed away, and his mother, Florence (Gibbons) Tower, had also passed away before he was born. He was their son.

He was born in the Canadian city of Montreal. Everyone who knew Larry was aware of the “Personality Plus” designation that he held. He possessed a combination of graciousness, charm, and generosity in equal measure. On a regular basis, he would share hilarious anecdotes with his children, and he was the type of person who could easily laugh at his own jokes. He was able to recall the first and last names of all of his coworkers as well as the names of the clients that he had visited because he possessed an exceptional memory.

After coming to Nova Scotia, he spent the majority of his working life in the field of Sales, first for Hunter Douglas in Montreal and then for MacMillan Bloedel in Nova Scotia, which is where he eventually settled down after his move. Because of the quality of his work, his customers had a great deal of respect and appreciation for him. He was a consistent winner of honors for Salesman of the Year, and as a result, he was awarded with trips to vacation locations, and so were his clients.
