John Mchugh Obituary, Learn More About John Mchugh Death
John Mchugh Obituary, Death – I must tell you with a heavy heart that John McHugh has passed away; it is with great regret that I do so. I was only made aware of it today, and it will no longer exist after April 28. I greeted him with “happy birthday,” but he did not answer me when I wished him well. I texted him, and when I went to message him on Facebook, I saw the post that he had just written. I was surprised to see it so soon. John I’m going to miss your hilarious sense of humor and the infectious manner that you laugh.
I count myself fortunate to have you as a friend. He was born in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, and his parents, Samuel E. Metzger and Lois (Sponsler) Metzger, both passed away before he was born. His son Trevor D. Metzger, his son’s wife Rachael, and his grandson Henry Wilson Metzger all live in Virginia Beach, Virginia; his sister Nancy L. Baker and her husband Gary live in rural Martinsburg; his brother Stephen C. Metzger and his wife Marsha live in Roaring Spring; and his fiancée Angela M. “Angie” Armolt lives in Roaring Spring.
The time spent with Uncle Dave will be especially missed by Dave’s nieces and nephews. A devoted sports fan of Central High School (Go Dragons), Penn State University (Fight on State), and the Pittsburgh Steelers (Here We Go), who admits to having a personal bias toward all three organizations. A golf enthusiast who also played the game often (he was particularly fond of his “Bandits” and his trips to Ocean City and Myrtle Beach).
Dave was a member of the protestant faith, and in the past he had gone to the Trinity United Methodist Church in Roaring Spring. Dave has two brothers who predeceased him: Samuel E. Metzger and Nelson D. Metzger. Both of these brothers went away before Dave.
