A collision occurred on the inner loop of Interstate 695 at Wilkens Avenue just before 8 o’clock in the evening, and the Maryland State Police were dispatched to the scene.
While traveling north on the inner loop, a BMW motorcycle was involved in an accident with a Mercedes-Benz. The accident was discovered at the scene. Derwin Waldron, a biker from Baltimore who was 50 years old, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. The person who was driving the Mercedes-Benz remained at the scene after the accident. As a result of the collision, the right shoulder and two of the right traffic lanes on the northbound side of I-695 were closed. The Crash Team from the Maryland State Police is conducting the investigation. He dedicated himself wholeheartedly to furthering his education and eventually earned a degree in business management from a university in the area.
